I came in mid-morning and chose to sit alone, just to soak in the golden light and the friendly, welcoming faces of the staff. It felt peaceful and safe, like a moment of stillness in a busy world. The food? It tasted like something my mother would make—if my mother had the magic touch of feeding not just one person, but a whole community. It was plentiful, delicious, and almost too beautiful to eat. The home-cooked appearance stirred something childlike in me, filling me with warmth and wonder even before I took the first bite. And every bite after that lived up to the promise. I believe this is a Puerto Rican restaurant, and if you speak Spanish, you’ll feel especially at home. “ Rice was dry and hard like it had been frozen or undercooked. The pernil had no flavor to it so kinda bland. All the food looked dried out. Like it’s been sitting for awhile and I ordered around 11:30am so meaning that everything should had been FRESH! A waste of my money. Don’t think I’ll be returning there. ”
